Pinoy Solo Hiker - Emerson Cruz

The blogger, Emerson Cruz a.k.a. Pinoy Solo Hiker (Filipino who hikes solo) hails from Laguna is a writer wannabe. A nature lover whose love for outdoor adventures started when he was still in college and was revived after visiting Sagada. He loves photography and blogging about his hiking & travel experience which also includes food trips. A typical 8 to 5 guy, he firmly believes in Work Life Balance between professional work and personal life. He currently lives in Laguna with his wife and two sons and is currently working as a Certified Digital MarketerSocial Media ExpertSEO Specialist (Google Analytics & Google Adwords Certified) in Company Confidential. He is also a Career Civil Service Professional since 2004.

The blogger writes his own content, takes his own pictures, pays for his own trip and food unless otherwise stated. He believes that you should do the things you loved the most while you are still young. Money and riches can be earned but free time, strength and opportunities to go places while you are young cannot be the same as when you age. Time flies so easily, 30 years from now we may have all the free time in the world to do everything we want, to go places we've never been yet we may not have the same strength and vigor we once had during our younger years. We can just look back and wished we've done what we should have done.

This blog is the author's personal journal which used to feature his solo hikes and travels, until recently he started joining organized hikes for cost efficiency and safety purposes. The author had also decided to migrate his two other blogs (Pinoy Resto at Kainan & Pinoy Solo Traveler) after considering some data analytics with regards to A/B Split Testing. The blogger is a Digital Marketing expert which specialize in Social Media, Marketing Automation (Marketo and HubSpot), Wordpress blogs, Google Analytics, SEO and Paid Search. You can reach him through his LinkedIn account.
